Tangem is a cryptocurrency hardware wallet that combines a high level of security with ease of use. The device takes the form of a thin NFC card – simply hold it close to your smartphone to sign a transaction or access the wallet. All operations are performed locally, without intermediaries and without access to the manufacturer's servers.

EAL6+ class security

Inside the card is a certified security chip that generates a random private key and prevents it from being copied or read. Tangem protects against both physical and remote attacks, providing a level of security comparable to that of identity documents.

The private key never leaves the device, is never stored or transmitted anywhere, which reduces the risk of funds being taken over by third parties to a minimum.

No battery, cables or charging

Tangem is a passive device – it works at all times, requires no power supply and contains no components prone to failure. Communication takes place exclusively via NFC, making the card resistant to damage, water, dust and temperature.

You can store the card in a wallet, document holder or pocket – the wallet remains ready to use regardless of the conditions you find yourself in.

Full user autonomy

The wallet stores no data in the cloud. Access to cryptocurrencies requires only the card and the app on your phone. Even changing your phone does not affect the use of the wallet — all data is controlled by the chip in the device.

The mobile app lets you check your balance, transaction history and conveniently manage your portfolio, without the need to log in to additional services.

Support for multiple blockchains and thousands of assets

From within the app you can manage a wide range of cryptocurrencies and tokens, track their value, send, receive, exchange and use staking features. Tangem regularly expands the list of supported blockchain networks, keeping the wallet up to date with the dynamically changing market.

Durability and backup capability

Sets of multiple cards allow the creation of independent access backups. If one card is lost or damaged, the remaining ones unlock the wallet and provide full access to funds.

The manufacturer declares the device's resistance to a minimum of 25 years of use, making Tangem a solution designed with long-term cryptocurrency storage in mind.
